Job? Maybe…

I suppose that today was a productive day. I woke up this morning and fixed the database error. It was a dumb error. I had been using FrontPage to upload my website changes, but I didn’t think about the fact that FP would delete the two folders that the weblog and forums were located in. Well, this did not really matter that much because the information for them is stored in the database. All I had to do was reinstall the weblog, and it worked off of the existing database. The forums however were not so easy. The installation for the forums does not let you install to existing tables. I had to copy the database to my computer, delete the database, install the forums, delete the new data base, and reload the database from my computer. Anyway, that’s what I did this morning, and everything seems to be running better now. I will use FireFTP from now on to upload my web changes, rather than FP. After that, I went to my Physics class. Nothing special really happened there. After Physics, I had a meeting with Robert McClure at the Santa Rosa County Offices. I was not aware that this was a job interview. He told me that he was going to take my resume and distribute it throughout the offices, but that’s not what happened. He told me that he needs assistance with his website and help around the offices, and he told me I could potentially work at certain times (Monday-Wednesday: 8:00AM-12:30PM and Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM). He told me that we would give me a call soon. So, does this mean I have a job now? I haven’t figured it out yet, so I’ll just wait to see what he has to say later. Well, the Star Wars movie is at 12:20AM tomorrow morning. I am supposed to meet Robert at 9:20PM at CVS. This should be interesting.
I have had a few “social events? lately. I went to La Hacienda, a nice Spanish restaurant, on Friday. I went with… Robert, Roby, Regina, Caddy, Jay, Jacob, and Caroline. Afterward, some of us went to Jacob’s house and watch a “scary? movie together. Yesterday, I hung out with Caddy. She called me while I was in Physics class and had me pick her up from Hobby Lobby. We didn’t really do anything though. She just came to my house. I showed her a few things and the kittens, and we just talked. She must be as dull as I am because she said that hanging out with me is fun. Wahaa! It is good to hang out with her. I’ll try to hang out with her as much as possible since she will be going to Germany in September. Daniel will miss Caddy.
Be sure to let me know if something in the website is not quite right. Thanks.
